Thomas Family

John THOMAS was born at Cambourne, Cornwall, England 1820. He married Elizabeth ALLEN at Carharrack, Cornwall, England 1845. They had 10 children: John 1846 - 1909, James 1848 - ?, William 1849 - 1896,Joseph Allen 1852 - ?, Mary 1854 - 1872, Amelia 1856 - 1860, Stephen 1858 - 1867, Amelia 1860 -1898, Ellen 1861 - before 1867, Frederick Stephen 1863 - 1932.
John came to Australia some time between 1863 and 1867. Elizabeth arrived in Victoria, Australia onboard "John Temperley" September 1867. She came with her 5 youngest chldren, William, Joseph, Mary, Amelia and Frederick.

William married Ellen LEE at St. Arnaud, Victoria in 1880. He died at St. Arnaud 1896. They had 5 children: William John 1881 - 1848, James Henry 1883 - 1883, Mary Elizabeth 1884 -?, Ellen Florence 1887 -? & George Leslie 1889 -?.

William John THOMAS married Maria Margaret McKINNON at St Arnaud, Victoria 1905. They had 6 children: William Reginald 1906-1973, Muriel 1907 -1907, Elizabeth Flora 1910 -1989, Alexander Leslie 1915 -?, Eillen May 1919-?, Lillian Jean 1926-2002.
